Q: How do you play the game; how do you win?

A: SIGILS™ the physical card game begins with a playing mat, or the game field. There are nine placements for cards on the field. Every card has four numerical values on it, one value is correlated to each side of the card. The values on each side are used to calculate the ability to claim another card from your opponent, or to reclaim one of your own cards in the event that your opponent has claimed it. If the value on your card's side is greater than the opponent's card next to it, you may claim their card. 

Each player is delt a hand of five cards from their own ten-card deck, for a total of twenty cards per set. Each ten-card deck has a theme to differentiate which you're playing, and each player chooses one theme to play per game. The goal is to claim your opponent's cards that are placed onto the field in order to have the most cards at the end. Each player counts their own cards and their claimed cards, and whoever has the most cards at the end is the victor. 

However, there are field effects that may interact with your cards, and TRUE / FALSE states on each card that may alter the winning conditions. Players must consider these additional effects when strategizing where and when to place cards. It may be beneficial to anticipate moves against you, lead opponents into a situation where they think they have the upper hand, and enable yourself to be several steps ahead.

SIGILS™ VR operates on the same concepts, but with added features such as LAN multiplayer (currently being tested), an immersive, three-dimensional game environment, customization (in development), musical scores, and some very interesting events players may encounter.

Q: Which systems will SIGILS™ be available on?

A: SIGILS™ will be available as a physical card game and a Virtual Reality video game (device/platform to be announced).

Q: Is there a demo; when can I try the game?

A: SHARP SET may release some form of demo or early access for SIGILS™, if we do, it will be announced on our social media and in our Newsletter. Rest assured that either way, the game is in active development and will be available when it's ready.
